All oats are grown on our Certified Organic farm.
FOOD AT THE FLOWER FARM
Note: No hot food service 6/25-6/27 but we will have baked goods, coffee, beverages, and grab-and-go quiches Saturday morning.
Each Saturday morning and Thursday evening we're bringing you farm-fresh food. Bring your appetite and enjoy the scenery at the Flower Farm.
Thursdays 4 pm - 7 pm | Saturdays 9 am - 12 pm
The menu will update weekly, but will always feature seasonal produce, meats, and ingredients.
Cash preferred, cards accepted. All seating is outdoors on our patio, feel free to bring a blanket to picnic. Takeout available.

Our CSA bouquets are deluxe arrangements crafted with the best floral stems from our organically managed fields. Join our CSA and you'll receive a weekly bouquet of our premium specialty cut flowers for the select months of your choice. Full Season members receive the equivalent of one free bouquet!

HERB FARM
Our Certified Organic herb farm is located near Mount Vernon in east central Iowa. We cultivate over 80 varieties of medicinal and culinary herbs on 1.5 acres using sustainable and regenerative practices. Our herbs are primarily grown for our herbal apothecary and product line and to provide local chefs and customers with high quality unique herbs.
HERBAL PRODUCTS
Herbalist-formulated tinctures and elixirs, therapeutic salves and balms, functional and delightful tea blends, & other small-batch seasonally-inspired creations. These vibrant herbal remedies are crafted from the plants we tend and harvest on our medicinal herb farm. Available for shipping nationwide or local pick up at our Farm Store.
FLOWER FARM
We grow a wide variety of specialty cut flowers for our Flower CSA members, bouquets for Farmers Markets, DIY Bulk Buckets, and to supply local florists. Join our Flower Bouquet CSA for an entire summer of flowers! Find our fresh cut flowers at our Farm Store in Mt Vernon, the Iowa City Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, and New Pioneer Co-op in Cedar Rapids.

I’ve been using this salve for almost a year, and I can honestly say I won’t use anything else ever again if I can help it. It works great for me as a face/hand moisturizer and for healing small cuts, acne, and scars. I love the minimal ingredients, the neutral scent, and how quickly it absorbs without feeling super greasy. I keep a tin in every bag I own- it’s a must have!
I started taking this to try and get my rage under control (perimenopausal). This has been amazing and I feel like this plant has taught me about my rage and anger and I hav either under control, I look at it differently and feel so much better.
The wildfire smoke made the air quality very poor over the course of several weeks. The smoke smell permeated our home despite keeping windows shut. I drank a daily cup of Breathe.
