Eat your weeds! Nettles are some of the most nutritionally dense spring greens - full of iron, calcium, vitamin C, potassium, vitamin K, & more. Nettles can also alleviate seasonal allergy symptoms when consumed regularly.
Steam or blanch and enjoy as a cooked green or dry the leaves for tea infusions.
Fresh herb orders are due Friday, April 26th at noon and must be picked up on Saturday, April 27th between 10am-noon at our Apothecary in the First Street Community Center - 221 1st St E, Mt Vernon Iowa.
